About the role
The Inventory Clerk is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, oversight, and performance of warehouse inventory, including ensuring accurate inventory through cycle counts and monitoring inventory dashboards.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy of inventory quantities and locations.
- Support other sites with maintaining accurate inventory.
- Conduct daily physical inventories and cycle counts for product discrepancies.
- Maintain a neat and orderly workplace at all times—includes moving pallets, straightening inventory, sweeping, and removing/disposing of debris.
- Perform length checks for Sales.
- Support internal transfers.
- Pull material using the scan gun and according to the correct procedure.
- Inspect material for deficiencies or breakages prior to shipment or warehouse storage.
- Record all material discrepancies utilizing appropriate procedures.
- Fix discrepancies related to inventory quantities, labeling, packaging, etc.
- Assist with missing spools, spool discrepancies, and monitor the rewind process.
- Monitor inventory dashboards and take appropriate actions to ensure inventory data integrity.
- Responsible for supporting the year-end inventory process.
- Oversee non-stock material for order allocations and correct warehouse placement once received.
- Follow safety procedures in accordance with approved training and report any dangerous conditions to management immediately.
- Assist site with production as needed.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Microsoft Excel experience.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with time management skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Aptitude for reports and graphs.
- Math aptitude.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
