Inventory Clerk

VSR Industries has been a world leader for over 50 years in the casino gaming industry, manufacturing high-security locks, custom-fabricated sheet metal, and wood products. Corporate headquarters and manufacturing plants are located in Henderson, NV.

About the role

Receives, stores, and distributes parts, materials, and equipment to all areas of the manufacturing floor. Manages inventory and maintains levels required on a daily and weekly basis to meet production requirements.

Responsibilities

• Label all parts and materials
• Perform cycle counts daily and weekly
• Create and maintain receiving, inventory, and distribution records
• Ensure warehouse and work area are organized
• Understand basic directions in English (required)

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 1-2 years of inventory and/or warehouse experience
• Clean and verifiable background screen and credit check
• Excellent math and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Forklift experience beneficial
• Excellent attendance
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and have a clean DMV report

Physical demands

• Must be able to stand, walk, and lift for up to 8 hours daily
• Vision abilities require close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception
• Required to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 lbs. continually
• May be required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Moderately loud noise levels in plant environment
