Inventory Clerk

Responsibilities

• Review, monitor, and execute the timely confirmation and accuracy of inbound inventories, transfer orders, job orders, shipping records and book adjustment transactions to ensure accurate inventory management records.
• Ensure incoming product is receipted and managed appropriately according to company processes and procedures.
• Ensure product is shipped to the correct location, per the shipping instructions provided using the various freight company software.
• Provide the Invoicing Clerk with the correct information to invoice the customer.
• Support ongoing quality improvement processes to ensure all deliverables are produced defect free and aligned with technical specifications.
• Follow standard operational procedures and work practices and policies to ensure consistency of output.
• Perform Live Cycle counts as directed by Finance, Director of Manufacturing and Production manager. CSR Manager must be notified 48 hours prior to a live Cycle count being performed and the duration for the cycle count.
• Generate and monitor inventory reports and unissued materials reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience in inventory control, shipping or manufacturing preferred.
• Prior experience with UPS, UPS WorldShip, and FedEx preferred.
• Computer skills including ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
