Inventory Clerk

About the role

Fitzgerald Auto Mall is hiring an Inventory Clerk to support the day-to-day management of parts inventory, ensuring accurate receiving, stocking, organization, and inventory control within our parts department. This role is critical to maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting technicians and parts personnel, and ensuring the efficient operation of the parts department.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts of automotive parts and accessories.
• Compare physical inventory to DMS/WMS inventory records (Reynolds).
• Research and resolve inventory variances and identify root causes.
• Maintain accurate bin locations and part organization.
• Verify receiving, shipping, returns, and transfers are processed correctly.
• Conduct audits of high-value and fast-moving inventory.
• Utilize barcode scanners and inventory management systems to update counts.

Requirements

• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with inventory systems and Excel.
• Ability to analyze discrepancies and solve problems.
