Inventory Associate/Vending Support

About the role

Martin Inc., founded in 1934 and headquartered in Florence, AL, is seeking an Inventory Associate/Vending Support to join their team. Offering a range of products and services tailored for maintenance, repair, and operation supplies (MRO), Martin is part of Affiliated Distributors, the Industrial Supply Association, National Association of Wholesalers, the National Fasteners Distributor Association, and the Global Sourcing Alliance.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance while on-site at customer and Martin locations.
• Load and unload product on-site at customer and Martin locations.
• Safely make deliveries in a 75-mile radius.
• Handle VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) duties.
• Fill vending machines and put away inventory at customer locations.
• Communicate back to the branch any concerns or needs of the customer.
• Perform basic warehouse functions including, order picking, stocking, shipping, receiving, cycle counting, and cleaning.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in inventory management or other industrial or maintenance related fields.
• Strong customer focus, work ethic, and ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Meet the driving criteria of Martin, insurance requires age 21.
• Operate a vehicle safely and abide by the laws of each state you travel.
• Inability to operate any material handling equipment (forklift, order picker, pallet jack, etc.).
• Pass a D.O.T. Physical.
• Pass a drug screening and background check including motor vehicle record.

Schedule

Full-time Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Some Overtime required.
