Inventory Associate Driver- Travel Team

Starting wage from $17.00–$22.00 per hour. Part-time position with consistent schedule and weekly pay.

The WIS Travel Team works predominantly with the world’s largest retailer, providing exceptional Inventory Solutions support. The Travel Inventory Associate will travel with the team weekly to customer locations across their region, scanning barcodes to provide accurate inventory information that helps customers make better business decisions. Drivers are responsible for safely transporting team members to and from inventory events in a timely manner, adhering to traffic laws and WIS driver safety requirements, and conducting vehicle inspections, maintenance, and daily cleaning.

This role is critical to increasing customer satisfaction and meeting company goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes for current inventory at customer locations.
• Safely transport team members to and from inventory events.
• Adhere to traffic laws and WIS driver safety requirements.
• Conduct and complete vehicle inspections, maintenance, and daily cleaning.
• Navigate to assigned locations using GPS devices.
• Work flexible schedules with varying hours, including early mornings and late nights, to support customer commitments.

Requirements

Team Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to stay in hotels up to 4 nights per week, including out-of-state travel (employer expense).
• No previous inventory experience necessary.
• Experience in retail, stock, customer service, cashiering, sales, picking, packing, driving, and/or warehouse work is a plus.
• Access to reliable transportation.

Driver Requirements

• Must be 21 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license within the state of residence for a minimum of 36 consecutive months.
• A minimum of three (3) years of proven driving experience.
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment investigative consumer report, screening, and MVR check.

Working Conditions

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods with occasional walking.
• Ability to use both hands and wrists for repetitive motions.
• Frequent low-level positions such as squatting, kneeling, or crouching.
• Frequent use of a ladder.
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs.
• Frequent travel via car and occasional travel via plane, including overnight stays (3–5 days a week).
