The WIS Travel Team works predominantly with the world’s largest retailer, providing exceptional Inventory Solutions support. The Travel Inventory Associate will travel with the team weekly to customer locations across their region, scanning barcodes for current inventory to provide accurate inventory information. This role assists customers in making better business decisions and supports their operational needs.

Drivers are responsible for safely transporting team members to and from inventory events in a timely manner, adhering to traffic laws and WIS driver safety requirements. This includes conducting vehicle inspections, maintenance, and daily cleaning. The Inventory Associate-Driver ensures the safe transport of associates while increasing customer satisfaction and meeting company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Scan barcodes for inventory at customer locations to provide accurate inventory data.
  • Safely transport team members to and from inventory events in compliance with traffic laws and WIS safety requirements.
  • Conduct and complete vehicle inspections, maintenance, and daily cleaning.
  • Adhere to flexible schedules with varying hours, including early mornings and late nights, to support customer commitments.
  • Travel up to 4 nights per week, including out-of-state travel, with employer-paid accommodations.
  • Stand for prolonged periods, perform repetitive motions, and lift/carry items up to 25 lbs.
  • Frequently use ladders and work in low-level positions such as squatting, kneeling, or crouching.

Requirements

Team Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Ability to stay in hotels up to 4 nights per week at employer expense, including out-of-state travel.
  • No previous inventory experience necessary.
  • Experience in retail, stock, customer service, cashiering, sales, picking, packing, driving, and/or warehouse work is a plus.
  • Access to reliable transportation.

Driver Requirements

  • Must be 21 years old.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license within the state of residence for a minimum of 36 consecutive months.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of proven driving experience.
  • Willingness to submit to a pre-employment investigative consumer report, screening, and MVR check.
  • Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation to assigned locations.

Working Conditions

  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods with occasional walking.
  • Frequent use of hands and wrists for repetitive motions.
  • Ability to frequently work in low-level positions (squatting, kneeling, or crouching).
  • Frequent use of a ladder.
  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs.
  • Frequent travel via car and occasional travel via plane, including overnight stays (3-5 days per week).

Pay

Starting wage: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour.
