Responsibilities

  • Displays ownership and accountability for inventory transactions.
  • Documents inventory variances and assists in resolution.
  • Captures inventory variances and resolves discrepancies.

  • Coordinates with internal teams regarding all inventory related issues and procedures.
  • Processes incoming packages from vendors, unpacks, sorts, and stages for processing.
  • Unpacks, sorts, and stages incoming rental, demo, and other equipment as necessary.
  • Inspects incoming inventory and equipment for ESD-safe packaging, labeling with quantity, and description.
  • Stocks inventory to locations, relocates inventory, and creates inventory locations.
  • Updates and maintains inventory location and mapping reports.
  • Updates and maintains inventory serial number and lot-tracking information.
  • Picks inventory items for job and rental orders using both scan and manual methods.
  • Reviews inventory item shortages for job and rental orders, communicating with planners and rental team.
  • Issues inventory materials to jobs and rental orders in electronic databases.
  • Performs counts of inventory to verify accuracy of book inventory.
  • Identifies and processes perpetual salable inventory that require proactive calibration.
  • Identifies and schedules rental equipment that requires functionality testing before restocking.
  • Performs functionality testing, maintenance, and restocking of rental sensors, meters, and shakers.
  • Communicates with Rental team to determine disposition of rental inventory when returned damaged or failing functionality.
  • Affixes non-conforming inventory staging and with reporting of open items.
  • Affixes non-conforming inventory and communicates with vendor/suppliers.
  • Works with Teams for continual improvement of inventory storage/shelving.
  • Participates and is responsible for cable rolling/cleaning operation.
  • Performs any pre-shipment value-added work as needed by Production Technicians, Rental Team Application Engineers, or other.
  • Maintains inventory areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Observes all safety precautions per department guidelines when operating test equipment, and follows all safety rules.
  • Performs other related duties as directed for the efficient operation of TMS and the production department.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years work experience in a related role.
  • Must have good communication skills both written and verbal; have computer skills; PC literate MS Office and MS Windows based environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Working Knowledge of Syteline ERP System a plus.

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; lift and carry up to 50lbs and talk or hear.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision.
  • This role requires the ability to work in an indoor production environment, with low to moderate noise level.
