About the role

This entry-level position provides both functional and organizational training under close supervision. Incumbents carry out assignments within well-defined practices, procedures, and policies. They work independently on details of assignments and have limited decision-making authority.

Responsibilities

  • Captures and coordinates activities of cycle counters across business areas.
  • Maintains proper priorities and deployment of activities.
  • Identifies process issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Supports variance analysis to identify root cause of issues.
  • Reports cycle count findings and assists in implementing process improvements.
  • Tracks and follows-up on process improvements.
  • Communicates initiatives across business areas.
  • Presents cycle count findings, write-offs, and process improvements to senior management.
  • Trains, supports, and mentors NCM Specialists to analyze data and understand their role in Inventory Management.
  • Develops and implements process changes to improve current processes.
  • Facilitates monthly meetings to provide technical or business updates.
  • Trains site employees on NCM to gain an understanding and appreciation for the NCM process.
  • Performs audits on physical processes and adherence to physical processes.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of production planning fundamentals, scheduling, materials requirements planning techniques, and manufacturing control systems.
  • Knowledge of warehouse, distribution, inventory control, and shipping/receiving practices.
  • Strong analytical skills to perform root cause analysis, interpret data, and resolve issues.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to maintain detailed and accurate records of material movement.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal customers.
  • Ability to provide leadership to a group of employees.
  • Knowledge of computer applications and the ability to accurately perform tasks in Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.

Qualifications

  • Zero to two years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills

Pay

The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
