Inventory Associate

About the role

The Inventory Control Associate will assist in maintaining inventory accuracy by counting and reporting results of physical counts and assist in re-warehousing of product.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical counts of product, including cycle counts, aisle checks, vintage verification, and other checks as needed
• Track physical counts, looking for trends
• Identify product that can be removed from forward pick locations to continuously ensure items with most activity are easiest to pick
• Research driver shorts, hand back order, and any other invoice delivery issues
• Assist in returns process, putting bottle and cases in storage locations
• Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor, may also be required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• No prior experience required
• Basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
• Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
• Analytic and Reporting skills
• Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment

Preferred qualifications

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment
• Possess a valid driver's license

Physical requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to remain in a stationary position at times; communicate, and operate a computer and telephone
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
