About the role
We are looking for an Inventory / Asset Manager to take ownership of the accuracy, accountability, and movement of company-owned and third-party equipment. This role is central to ensuring our gear is properly tracked, documented, and accounted for throughout rentals, sub-rentals, projects, warehouse operations, and its overall lifecycle. The position works across departments and with vendors and rental partners to maintain accurate inventory, resolve discrepancies, and build systems and processes that support efficient operations. Candidates with experience within the live event industry are highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own inventory accuracy and asset accountability across company-owned and third-party equipment
- Track equipment throughout its lifecycle, including location, condition, ownership, status, and movement
- Oversee equipment movements related to rentals, sub-rentals, sales, repairs, transfers, shipping, receiving, and returns
- Conduct and coordinate internal gear audits, physical inventory counts, and reconciliations
- Identify, investigate, and resolve shortages, missing, lost, damaged, or otherwise unaccounted-for equipment
- Ensure equipment movements, asset identification, and inventory records are accurately maintained in the inventory management system
- Develop and improve inventory SOPs, workflows, and processes to support accuracy and efficiency
- Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, rental houses, and sub-rental partners to resolve asset-related issues and support operational needs
Qualifications
- 1-5 years of experience in inventory, asset management, warehouse operations, equipment rental, or logistics (experience within the production industry highly preferred, e.g., AV, lighting, staging, entertainment, or similar)
- Experience with inventory or asset-tracking systems; Flex or similar platforms preferred
- Experience managing company-owned and third-party or sub-rental equipment
- Experience with physical inventory counts, audits, and reconciliations
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
