Inventory and Purchasing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Create, process, and track purchase orders from requisition through receipt
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records
• Cook with vendors regarding pricing, availability, delivery schedules, and order discrepancies
• Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
• Reconcile inventory transactions and investigate variances

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, inventory control, procurement, supply chain, or a related role
• Experience processing purchase orders and managing vendor relationships
• A high school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's degree preferred
• Knowledge of inventory cycle counts and inventory reconciliation processes
• Familiarity with ERP, purchasing, or warehouse management systems
