About the role

Shape the bright futures of Grand Canyon University students as a cohort adjunct faculty member for the College of Engineering and Technology at Fort Leonard Wood. Provide program instruction incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, cutting-edge technologies, and other industry trends reflecting advancements in Information Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

Requirements

  • Masters (or higher) in Information Technology or related field with 2-5 years' experience designing and/or implementing Enterprise server systems in a mid to large size organizations
  • All instructors must have skills in latest MS Server and Linux Administration, Server Roles, Active Directory management, and the ability to setup/manage/troubleshoot multi-layered architectures
  • Preference given to individuals holding current certifications in Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows Server

Qualifications

  • Bachelors (or higher) in Information Technology or related field with 7-10 years' experience designing and/or implementing Enterprise server systems in a mid to large size organization
  • All instructors must have skills in the latest MS Server and Linux Administration, Server Roles, Active Directory management, and the ability to setup/manage/troubleshoot multi-layered architectures
  • Preference given to individuals holding current certifications in Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows Server

Skills

  • Ability to teach in modern facilities with smaller class sizes
  • Experience with latest MS Server and Linux Administration, Server Roles, Active Directory management, and multi-layered architectures
  • Current certifications in Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows Server preferred
