About the role

As an Intervention Teacher at St. Gerard School in Paterson, New Jersey, you’ll advocate for students, differentiate instruction, and empower them to reach their full potential. This part-time role offers 20 hours per week during the school day, ideal for educators at any career stage.

Responsibilities

• Differentiate instruction by customizing and delivering lessons using data to meet individual student needs.
• Engage students by fostering ownership, critical thinking, and clear routines.
• Grow professionally through training, coaching, and feedback.
• Track progress by maintaining accurate student and academic records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Valid New Jersey teaching license.
• Unwavering belief that all children can learn.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.
