Qualifications
- Valid teaching credential appropriate to their teaching assignment
- One of the following preferred: Special Education Credential, Colorado License with a Reading Specialist Endorsement, Teaching experience appropriate to the assignment
- Demonstrated commitment to and understanding of the Highline mission
- ESSA qualifications in line with federal, state, and local requirements
- Ability to lead data meetings, collaborate with teaching staff regarding data and differentiation, and ensure strong results for every child
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Physical Requirements
- Be able to walk quickly
- Bend, kneel, crouch, sit, stand, grab or hold with one or both hands
- To be able to lift up to 40lbs without difficulty
- Maintain appropriate demeanor and professional classroom behavior when working with children and adults
Schedule
- Paid year round on a salary
- Student contact days: 176
- Professional development days and parent conference days: 187
- Work 187 days in a year
- Two weeks of professional development every summer before school begins

- Placement on our scale is based on years of experience and credits earned
