About the role

Performs all phases of interventional and neuro-interventional radiologic examinations on pediatric/congenital and/or adult patients in the CVIS in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and maintains filing systems.
  • Performs administrative support duties specific to the Department Leader member being supported; may include special projects, data entry, analysis, or MOR preparation.
  • Schedules and coordinates meetings, conferences, special events, appointments and travel arrangements.
  • Maintains assigned calendar(s).
  • Receives and screens visitors and telephone calls, and handles general inquiries.
  • Composes, types and transcribes correspondence, forms, reports, presentation materials and other written communications.
  • Orders and stocks supplies.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • ACLS American Heart E-Card
    • ACLS American Heart RQI E-Card
    • BLS American Heart E-Card
    • PALS American Academy of Pediatrics (PALS AAP)
    • Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
    • Graduate of an AMA approved accredited Radiologic Technologist program

    Additional Job Information

    • Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Must be able to work a regular on call schedule and work irregular shifts if needed. Must be able to respond to emergent and unexpected situations.
    • Required Work Experience: No prior work experience required.
    • Other Information: ACLS Certification (ACLS) within 6 months is preferred for most locations. Memorial Regional Hospital: Must have ACLS Certification (ACLS) within 6 months. Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital specific: Must have ACLS Certification (ACLS) and PALS Certification (PALS) within 6 months.
