Interventional/Structural Cardiology - Full Time NP/PA

Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute's Interventional and Structural Heart Program is seeking a Full-time advanced practice provider (APP) to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

• Function at the top of their license in the inpatient hospital and outpatient clinic-based setting in collaboration with a supervising physician and other members of a multidisciplinary team.
• Manage patients pre and post procedurally.
• Perform admission, rounding, consult and discharge notes on patients in the inpatient and ED setting, along with same day procedure setting.
• See 14 outpatients on a full day of clinic.
• Participate in committees, especially those around improving care for individual service line.
• Participate in education of APP fellows, MD students, residents, or in onboarding of new APPs.
• Work independently and work well with a team.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Current license to practice as a NP or PA in North Carolina.
• Current prescriptive privileges and DEA license required.
• BLS/ACLS Certified.
• Nurse practitioners with Master's degree of Doctorate of Nursing Practice. ACNP, AGACNP required based on population served.
• Physician Assistants with certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a provider required; experience in Cardiology.
• Highly motivated with superb communication and organizational skills with a commitment to provide quality care to the patients we serve in the Greater Charlotte community.
