Interventional Spine Specialist

About the role

Seeking a Full-time Physiatrist with Interventional Spine Fellowship to join a dynamic department in San Rafael, CA. The role involves providing outpatient care, performing fluoro-guided procedures, and conducting nerve conduction studies/EMG. The ideal candidate is board certified or eligible in PMR with interventional pain skills. Responsibilities include managing 10-12 clinic patients and 10-13 procedure patients daily, with opportunities for mentorship and leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Cervical and lumbar epidural cortisone injections
• Facet joint injections, medial branch blocks, and radiofrequency ablation
• Sacroiliac joint injections and lateral branch procedures
• Fluoro-guided hip injections
• Ultrasound-guided MSK procedures
• Nerve conduction studies and EMG

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in PMR
• Fellowship training in Interventional Spine (ACGME not required)
• Eligible for or current CA medical license

Skills

• Interventional pain management skills
• Performance of fluoro‑guided injections and ultrasound‑guided MSK procedures
• Conducting nerve conduction studies and EMG
• Managing high‑volume outpatient clinic and procedure schedule
