Interventional Radiology Technologist

About the Role

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures across advanced modalities such as CT, MRI, interventional, mammography, bone density, and cardiac catheterization to assist in diagnosis and treatment for adult and pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
• Conducts studies independently, including on-call, portable, and site-specific exams.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent from a trade school.
• No prior experience required; preferred less than 2 years.

Qualifications

• Licenses & certifications such as RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES; IEMA (Illinois only, excluding MRI).
• Preferred certifications include CPR and Intravenous Therapy.
