Interventional Radiology Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Assist proceduralists during vascular and neuro-interventional cases.
• Operate floor and ceiling mounted fluoroscopic machines.
• Identify, retrieve, and circulate complex products during procedures.
• Operate power injection devices for iodinated contrast media.
• Maintain sterile techniques and infection prevention measures.
• Contribute to a multidisciplinary team including nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons.
• Document in electronic medical records and manage images in Sectra/PACs system.
• Manage groin post-intervention.
• Provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.
• BLS certification from an approved AHS credentialed American Heart Association or equivalent.
• Current licensure with ARRT NJ state.
• Strong communication skills using closed-loop communication.
• Critical thinking skills during neuro-interventional and complex cases.

Schedule

• 3-12 hour shifts or 4-10 hour shifts.
• On-call duty every 4th weekend.
• 1 day per week.
