Role: Chief of Interventional Radiology, leading a dynamic and expanding IR section within a major academic health system. Responsibilities: Oversee a broad range of interventional procedures including angiography, embolizations, ablations, TIPS, and venous access; provide subspecialized IR services; participate in resident, fellow, and medical student education; support research initiatives; and contribute to clinical excellence and innovation. Qualifications and Skills: MD or DO (or foreign equivalent), board certified in IR/DR, completion of IR/DR residency or fellowship at an ACGME-accredited institution, leadership experience, and ability to obtain an unrestricted NYS Medical License. Preferred candidates hold academic ranks of Associate or Full Professor. Key Duties: Lead a team of interventional radiologists, collaborate within a system-wide division of 30 IRs, utilize state-of-the-art equipment, and support the development of outpatient IR services at new facilities.
