Interventional Radiologic Technologist (IR)

Key Duties

• Operating imaging equipment independently and assisting radiologists during procedures
• Preparing patients and equipment, performing post-processing, and circulating procedures
• Participating in call rotations for overnight and weekend shifts with premium pay and incentives

Qualifications

• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R))
• Associate's Degree or trade school equivalency
• No prior interventional radiology experience required; training provided
• Additional certifications such as RT, CT, MR, and CPR are preferred
• Willingness to cross-train in interventional radiology and work with advanced imaging equipment

• Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong patient preparation and equipment handling skills
• Adaptability to shift work, including call rotations
