Interventional Rad Tech, PRN, Days

About the role

Piedmont Henry Hospital Imaging Department offers opportunities for skilled professionals to work in state-of-the-art facilities equipped with the latest technology. The department includes various imaging modalities such as X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, interventional radiology, and more.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, gastrointestinal studies, and modality-assisted drainage and biopsies.
• Completes all post-processing functions.
• Ensures compliance with established protocols and techniques for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
• Performs related record-keeping and patient care functions.

Requirements

No prior experience is required. All candidates must be graduates of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or a JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program. Upon hire, certification as an R(R) ARDMS or ARRT - Radiographer from the American Registry of Radiological Technologists is required, along with BCLS - Basic Life Support.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Required licenses and certifications: R(R) ARDMS or ARRT - Radiographer from the American Registry of Radiological Technologists, BCLS - Basic Life Support upon hire.

Skills

Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. Proficiency in using imaging equipment and software is also required.
