Responsibilities
- Assist the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist) by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures in the cardiovascular lab.
- Ensure the procedure room is adequately prepared for procedures.
- Monitor par level of all instruments and supplies.
- Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
- Assist in the training of new staff.
- Assist in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
Requirements
- ARRT-R and licensed as required by State.
- VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist) preferred.
- Fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
- Previous experience in an Interventional Radiology department preferred.
- BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 30 days of hire.
- Proficient computer skills.
Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is a flat rate of $43.67. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
