Interventional Rad - Kansas City

About the role

Join one of the nation's premier physician-led cardiovascular organizations specializing in vascular surgery and Interventional Radiology. The position is 100% Interventional Radiology with no diagnostic responsibilities. You will practice across a Level II Trauma Center and outpatient OBL/procedure centers, helping to build a brand‑new hospital‑based IR program while developing an outpatient procedural practice in the Kansas City metro. The role offers immediate procedural volume in two brand‑new IR suites equipped with state‑of‑the‑art GE angiography, a broad procedural mix, and the opportunity to shape the future of a growing IR service.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad procedural mix including trauma embolization, vascular interventions, biopsies, drains, central venous access, GI procedures, and women's health interventions.
• Develop and grow an outpatient clinic and advanced minimally invasive procedures such as PAE, PAD interventions, genicular embolization, and other image‑guided therapies.
• Collaborate closely with experienced vascular surgeons who provide shared call support and vascular backup.
• Work with dedicated APP support.
• Help build and expand the hospital IR program and outpatient procedural practice.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology.
• Interest in both hospital‑based and outpatient Interventional Radiology.

• Collaborative approach to working alongside vascular surgeons and multidisciplinary teams.
• Interest in long‑term partnership and physician ownership.
• Live and practice in Kansas City.
