Job Summary

The Interventional Cardiovascular Technologist acts as a critical member of the patient care team within the department, collaborating fully with the other care team members in assuring continuity of care for their patients. The technologist promotes a philosophy of patient/family-focused care in all interactions with patients, families, and hospital personnel and focuses on understanding and meeting customer needs.

Cath Lab

  • State of the art technology including Philips and Siemens X-Ray system, IVUS, OCT, and Intra Cardiac Echo (ICE)
  • High Risk Coronary PCI Program: Intravascular Lithotripsy, Atherectomy, Impella, IABP, and ECMO
  • CTO Program: Structural Program including: TAVR, Pulmonic, Mitral, and Tricuspid Valve therapies, ASD/PFO closure, and a robust Adult Congenital Heart program
  • Peripheral Program: Carotid stenting, Balloon Pulmonary Angioplasty (BPA), Pulmonary Embolism Thrombectomy, and EKOS
  • Pediatric Program in collaboration with Boston Children’s Hospital Cath Lab

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate's degree from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology certified by the ARRT
  • Valid license to practice as a radiologic technologist in the state of Massachusetts
  • Completion of BLS and ACLS certification

Pay Range

$31.98 - $47.85/Hourly Grade 5
