About the role

As an Invasive Technologist at CHI St Alexius Bismarck, you will prepare patients and assist physicians during invasive cardiac and vascular procedures. You will set up sterile fields, manage specialized equipment, monitor patient hemodynamics, operate imaging systems, and maintain detailed documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates professional knowledge in patient care, prepares patients for procedures to the highest standards, and assists with patient education
  • Manages the routine use and quality control of angiography equipment, and expertly operates imaging equipment for visualization and localization of anatomy during procedures
  • Absolutely adheres to established radiation safety protocols for all personnel and protects patients and employees by following infection control policies
  • Data management and compliance: assesses patients using pertinent data to select appropriate products, facilitates exam delivery for physician interpretation, utilizes CPT coding, and adheres to HIPAA and hospital policies
  • Stocks supplies, completes job-specific competencies, contributes to departmental goal setting, attends meetings, and assists in meeting core measure and quality control thresholds

Requirements

  • Graduation from a School of Radiologic Technology
  • Member of the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Board of Examiners
  • Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists
  • Working knowledge of skills obtained in approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • Ability to work independently to perform standard and complex procedures under minimal direction
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) within 480 hours of employment and re-certification as required

Preferred

  • 1 year experience as a Radiological Technologist
  • Cardiac Interventional (CI) and/or Vascular Interventional (VI) certification preferred

Pay

The posted compensation range of $27.65 - $38.76 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.

Schedule

Monday - Friday 0700-1530 Rotating Call Weekends/Holidays
