Interventional Cardiology Physician

Candidate Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible cardiologist who can obtain certification
• Preference for candidates with local community ties or a desire to establish roots in the Tomball / North Houston community
• Seeking an "all-around" cardiologist capable of diagnostic, vascular, peripheral, and interventional work
• Structural work availability, but not required
• Ability to obtain or maintain a Texas medical license and practice in good standing

About the Role

The incoming cardiologist would be on STEMI call, with the current team seeing about 15 STEMI encounters per month between two hospitals. The incoming candidate could expect to see 5 STEMI encounters per month to start.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic, vascular, peripheral, and interventional cardiology procedures
• Participate in STEMI call coverage
• Utilize in-house nuclear camera and echo equipment
