Interventional Cardiology Physician

Role Overview: This position is for an Interventional Cardiologist within a growing cardiology group, primarily based in downtown Birmingham. The candidate will provide comprehensive cardiovascular care, including inpatient consults, outpatient follow-ups, and procedures. Key Responsibilities Perform invasive procedures in a state-of-the-art Cath Lab, including diagnostic and interventional work.Manage a diverse patient caseload with responsibilities in inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings.Conduct diagnostic tests such as ECGs, stress tests, echocardiography, carotid dopplers, Holter and event monitoring, and other cardiovascular assessments.Participate in on-call rotation to provide emergency coverage.Develop and grow a practice by building relationships with hospital staff, ER physicians, and community providers.Market yourself within the Birmingham medical community to increase clinic volume. Qualifications & Skills Open to new fellows, with a preference for some experience.Willingness to develop a practice across multiple locations.Strong clinical skills in invasive and non-invasive cardiology.Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
