Interventional Cardiology Physician

About the role

Interventional Cardiologist responsible for growing and managing the cath lab program in a supportive hospital environment. Located in a vibrant community near Anchorage, offering scenic landscapes, outdoor activities, and cultural events. The medical center is a 125-bed facility providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care. Alaska offers favorable economic conditions, no state income tax, and high reimbursement rates.

Responsibilities

• Participate in expanding cath lab services
• Perform PCI procedures
• Contribute to the development of coronary CTA and hybrid labs
• Support peripheral, device, and TEE procedures as needed
• Engage in outreach clinics and collaborate with a skilled team of cath lab and echo staff
• Opportunity to be involved in wound care clinics for PAD and vein disease
• Provide interventional cardiology services
• Support hospital expansion efforts
• Participate in a growing community’s healthcare needs

Qualifications

• Must have PCI experience
• Peripherals, devices, and TEE skills are advantageous

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills are essential

Schedule

Light call duties with excellent hospitalist and intensivist support.
