Responsibilities
- Perform heart catheterizations and PCI/angioplasty/stents
- Implant pacemakers and defibrillators
- Respond to 24/7 STEMI and Cardiology calls
- Work in two fully digital cath labs
- Support hospital operations with two independent interventional cardiology providers
- Work in a full-time position with a mix of inpatient and outpatient duties
- Located in Gadsden, AL, approximately 1 hour from Birmingham, AL and 2 hours from Atlanta, GA
Requirements
- Current medical license in good standing
- Experience in interventional cardiology
- Knowledge of cardiac procedures and technologies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong clinical skills and patient care abilities
