About the role

Join CHI Health Clinic in Kearney, Nebraska, as an Interventional Cardiologist. You will become part of a highly collaborative cardiovascular team dedicated to providing exceptional heart and vascular care throughout central and western Nebraska.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient interventional cardiology services
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a broad spectrum of cardiovascular disease
  • Perform coronary and peripheral interventional procedures consistent with your training and expertise
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary specialists, including cardiothoracic and vascular surgery specialists
  • Work closely with hospitalists, intensivists, and other care teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic capabilities including in-clinic laboratory, X-ray, echocardiography, and vascular ultrasound services
  • Practice within a regional referral center serving a population of more than 300,000 throughout Nebraska, Kansas, and South Dakota
  • Participate in educational opportunities through the academic affiliation with Creighton University School of Medicine

Requirements

  • American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
  • American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
  • Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program
  • Completion of an accredited Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program
  • Valid Nebraska medical license or eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Nebraska
  • Nebraska DEA registration or eligibility to obtain

Qualifications

  • Interest or experience in structural heart interventions (preferred)
