Part-time position located in the Kent area, 14 hours per week during the 2026-2027 school year. W2 employment with benefits eligibility based on hours.

About the Role

PSI partners directly with schools to fill active, approved positions. Assignment details are shared early in the process whenever possible. You will receive clinical, professional, and personal support throughout your assignment.

Assignment Experience

  • Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, counselors, and school psychologists
  • Exposure to multiple grade levels (PreK–12 opportunities)
  • Implement differentiated instruction and intervention strategies
  • Work with individual students, small groups, and whole-class support

Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals
  • Collaborate on developing and implementing intervention plans
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
  • Support students’ social-emotional growth and behavior management
  • Assist in data collection and documentation for IEP compliance
  • Partner with educators, families, and support staff to ensure student success

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
  • Valid Intervention Specialist or Special Education license/certification (state-specific)
  • School-based experience preferred, but newer professionals encouraged to apply (mentorship available)
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
