Intervention Specialist

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or
• Associate’s degree in a related field plus 2 years of relative work experience, or
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with 4 years of relative work experience

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral modification support to the classroom
• Create and implement Positive Behavior Support Plans
• Engage in data collection and progress reporting
• Provide classroom behavior modification techniques
• Work one-on-one or with groups in a school setting
• Able to pass and implement safety care training, including:
  • Recognizing antecedent behavior
  • Utilizing de-escalation techniques
  • Applying physical techniques when warranted for safety
  • Properly documenting all interventions
• Verbal processing of events and other therapeutic services as needed
• Follow clinical guidance from a certified clinician
• Co-facilitate group sessions with a certified clinician
• Facilitate group sessions independently when a certified clinician is not available
• Perform other related duties as required or assigned

Pay

Up to $20.95 per hour

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
