About the role
The Intervention Specialist provides intervention and specialized instructional support to students with disabilities needs at ICEF Public Schools. They develop, implement, and evaluate individual programs for IEP implementation and ensure successful progress towards student goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Student Success: Conduct diagnostic evaluations for students to determine performance levels.
- Instructional Support: Assist in implementing instruction and support student instruction.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with staff for appropriate delivery of services and compliance adherence.
- Daily Operations: Supervise students during lunch, recess, and other areas on campus; perform clerical tasks like tracking service minutes, making copies, and organizing IEPs; perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- An earned Associate's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university, or a minimum of 48 college units, or CBEST passage.
- Excellence in writing, editing, and verbal communication.
- Strong leadership, team management, and project execution skills.
- Proficient use of Google-based applications.
- TB clearance.
- Background check clearance.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of professional experience in a public charter school, charter management organization, or public school district.
- Proficiency in using school-based information systems and applications.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
