Looking for a high-paying Special Education opportunity with a full school-year schedule? We are seeking an Intervention Specialist to join an elementary school team in Columbus, Ohio for the 2026-2027 school year.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $55/hour
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
- Contract Length: 40 Weeks
- Start Date: August 10, 2026

Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction to students receiving special education services
- Support the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff
- Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
- Participate in student program planning and team meetings
- Provide consultation and educational support to general education staff
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- Valid state teaching certification as required by state and district regulations
- Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
- Must comply with professional standards of practice
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university (preferred)
- Minimum one year of teaching experience (preferred)
- Standard Elementary Teaching Certification (preferred)
- Standard Secondary Teaching Certification (preferred)
- Standard Special Education Teaching Certification (preferred)
- Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) Endorsement (preferred)
- Current CPR certification, if applicable (preferred)
- Current health screening and TB clearance requirements, if applicable (preferred)
