Interpreter - Independent Contractor

Responsibilities

• Facilitate interpretation in a variety of subjects: Medical, Business, and Education Settings.

Requirements

• Be fluent in both English and target language.
• Be Certified or be prepared to be tested in interpreted language.
• Be prepared to have Livescan and Background Checks conducted.
• Be familiar with HIPPA and Cultural Sensitivity trainings.
• Adhere to CHIA Professional Code of Conduct standards.
• Be comfortable with the consecutive interpretation process (Simultaneous a plus).
• Strong passion for interpreting and customer service.
• Be experienced with both face to face and remote interpreting.

Pay

Rates are negotiable.
