Core Duties
- Providing onsite language translation and interpretation from/to Portuguese/English of forms, case files, signage, flyers, brochures, and transportation announcements, menus, agency brochures and documents, any required program documentation.
- Providing onsite and in-home translation for clientele enrollment.
- Providing in-person translation for application process and intake process with clientele.
- Aid clientele in matching appropriate documentation.
- Provide classroom support for student and parent teacher interactions.
- Some travel will be required between our programs in Plymouth, Marshfield and Wareham.
Core Qualifications
- Current physical, and TB test prior to beginning employment.
- Statement of no record ? CORI.
- Language skills ? written & oral fluent in Portuguese/English.
- Experience working with diverse populations of children and families.
- BA/BS degree or AS/AA in Early Childhood Education, Human Services or similar.
- Community Interpreter Certification Or Training Required.
Minimum Requirements At employment:
- All candidates must undergo a background check where applicable; prior to beginning employment.
