Interpreter

About the role

The Interpreter serves as a frontline provider of Spanish interpretation and translation services for patients and families with limited English proficiency across Children’s of Alabama. You support communication during scheduled, unscheduled, and urgent encounters. You act as the voice for both caregivers and staff while remaining impartial and objective. You follow all Language Services policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Credentials with Equivalent Qualifications: Certified Medical Interpreter
• Experience with Equivalent Qualifications: 1 Year job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Interpreter

Qualifications

• Education with Equivalent Qualifications: High School Diploma Graduate or Equivalent
