Internship - The State Group

The State Group’s Future Leaders Program is a paid internship designed to provide structured, meaningful work and professional growth opportunities. 80% of our interns receive full-time employment offers upon graduation.

About the role

This on-site internship offers hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, or civil contracting, with exposure to different areas of the business and mentorship from experienced professionals. Interns collaborate across the organization, contribute to team meetings, and participate in a collaborative Capstone Project.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across the organization while gaining insight into business operations.
• Assist with research, analysis, planning, documentation, reporting, or other responsibilities related to your area of study.
• Attend team meetings and contribute ideas, updates, and solutions.
• Build practical skills through hands-on experience, mentorship, and professional development.
• Network with other interns and participate in a collaborative Capstone Project.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a college diploma or university degree in a field relevant to the internship opportunity.
• Completion of at least one year of post-secondary education.
• Strong desire to learn, contribute, and grow in a professional environment.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow direction, manage priorities, and take initiative.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen for US Internships.
