Internship Property Management Summer 2027

About the Role

NRP is offering two paid summer internship opportunities within our Property Management Team: On-site (Affordable or Market-Rate) or Operations. This 10-week program provides real-world experience in the multifamily housing industry, including hands-on work at property sites or in-office with the Operations team.

Interns will work closely with leaders across the Property Management team, gaining exposure to leasing, maintenance, compliance, and property analysis through special projects. Property sites span multiple markets, including Florida, Mid-Atlantic, Ohio, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Texas.

What to Expect

• Work on-site at an NRP property to learn leasing and maintenance operations or work in-office with the Operations team on compliance and support.
• Collaborate with Property Management leaders to gain industry experience beyond the classroom.
• Contribute to special projects involving in-depth property analysis.
• Participate in a well-rounded internship experience, including:
  • Lunch & Learn sessions with various departments.
  • Structured professional development sessions.
  • Pairing with an NRP Buddy/Peer Mentor.
  • Organized activities to connect with NRP team members.
  • Exposure to senior leadership throughout the program.
  • Opportunities to volunteer and give back to the community.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or graduate-level degree in a related field conferred by June 2028.
• Ability to commit to 40 hours/week for the full 10-week internship (May 31, 2027 – August 6, 2027).
• Sponsorship for work visas is not available for this program.
