Internship Program - Seattle Region 2026 - 2027

About the role

Our internship program will prepare you for leadership positions both on and off the jobsite. The program allows you to travel across the United States and through operational divisions to gain hands-on experience in project engineering and field management. You will be carefully matched with positions related to your academic and career goals, setting you up for the right career path after graduation. Interns work on jobsites or in the office helping with pursuits in our estimating and preconstruction departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist project manager or field supervision staff with project coordination
• Estimate cost for change orders
• Solicit bidders and coordinate subcontractor activity
• Schedule various contracts and materials
• Perform document control
• Coordinate subcontractors
• Support safety management
• Participate in team meetings
• Write RFIs, submittals, and assist in change orders
• Learn about multiple career paths in the company and be trained to become a full-time employee after college graduation

Qualifications

• Preferred: bachelor’s degree
• Preferred: ability to work a 12-week work schedule
• Specific roles may require relocation
