About the role

This internship is expected to start January 2027 and continue through the Winter/Spring term (through April/May 2026) or into Summer 2027 if available. A minimum commitment of 12 weeks, full‑time (40 hours/week) on‑site is required. The program is for students actively enrolled in an academic program; recent graduates seeking employment after graduation should apply for full‑time positions instead. International students with CPT work authorization should consult their school regarding eligibility to work 40 hours/week. Note that many students may be limited to part‑time during the academic year, but this role requires full‑time availability. The Internship Recruiting Team aims to recognize and develop emerging talent through a year‑round program that places top students in roles where they grow technically, professionally, and personally by working closely with managers, mentors, and teams on critical projects. Located in Palo Alto, CA, the Tesla Energy Grid Solutions team seeks a motivated individual to work on power‑systems stability modeling and analysis for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and renewable integration.
