Internship - Occupational Safety & Training - Field Operations Department

Responsibilities

• Reviewing injury and motor vehicle accident reports from the field for accuracy and tracking to find trends
• Electronic filing of all training documents using an established naming convention
• Assisting in the creation and refinement of Microsoft Excel sheets that use code and formulas to track employee Training and Qualification status
• Working directly with the General Supervisors of Training and Safety in refining safety protocols and developing new procedures
• Riding with a Safety Supervisor to observe how our work is performed on a day to day basis
• Collaborating on unique projects with other interns, Supervisors or Engineers from other sections inside or outside of Field Operations

Qualifications

• Be a full-time student currently enrolled in an accredited university or college
• Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or other relevant field of study
• Have a sophomore classification or above
• Be in good academic standing
• Be able to commit to 15-20 hours per week to the program (year-round interns)
• Previous internship experience is preferred
• Strong analytical and computer skills
