Internship - Multimedia Specialist

About the role

This is an unpaid internship and is limited to current graduate students. The Harrisburg School District is excited to announce the opportunity for 1-2 highly motivated interns to join our multimedia team. This internship opportunity will provide hands-on experience in various areas of multimedia production, and the chance to contribute to educational events that inspire and engage our community.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Multimedia Manager
• Gain valuable skills in audio and video support
• Video editing
• Social media management
• Event support

Requirements

• At least 16 hours per week
• Flexibility for school and work schedules
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience with operating audio and video equipment
• Editing software proficiency
• Understanding of social media platforms
• Able to work independently and collaboratively

Schedule

• Monday – Friday between 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Tuesday evening school board meetings (twice a month)
• Some evenings and weekends for athletic and district events
