Internship - Master's Level - Boys and Girls Clubs of the Valley location(s)

Responsibilities

• Work in partnership with Boys and Girls Club of the Valley branches using a trauma-healing treatment approach for club members K-12.
• Perform tasks related to their specific area of study under the supervision of a qualified Terros Health professional.
• Apply and continue to learn by practical application the principles, theory, and knowledge from their related course work in a highly professional healthcare setting.
• Learn patient assessment skills, treatment interventions, case coordination, and team collaboration.
• Demonstrate clinical skills to support academic and professional goals upon completion of the program.

Requirements

Prior experience working with children is a plus.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Master’s Program with an emphasis in Counseling, or a Bachelor's Program with an internship requirement as part of their educational requirements.

Skills

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with children, and a passion for behavioral health care.
