About the role

Internship in Social Media for 6 months (part-/full-time) at EEX, a leading commodity exchange in Europe. You will support the Communications & Marketing team in managing social media communications for one of the world's leading energy exchanges, gaining hands‑on experience in creating engaging content, managing social media activities and strengthening EEX's digital presence.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of social media activities across corporate and executive channels, with a strong focus on LinkedIn
• Assist in the creation of social media content, including copywriting, visual assets and campaign support
• Help maintain and further develop editorial calendars and content plans
• Monitor social media trends, industry developments and best practices
• Assist with social media analytics, reporting and performance evaluations
• Support communications around events, conferences and corporate initiatives
• Conduct research and prepare presentations, content recommendations and communication materials
• Collaborate with colleagues across communications, marketing and business teams on content‑related projects

Requirements

• Currently studying Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Media Studies, Business Administration or a related field
• Strong interest in social media, digital communications and content creation
• Excellent command of German and English (both written)

Skills

• Creative with an eye for compelling content and visual storytelling
• Structured and reliable work style, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Curious about current social media trends and digital communication developments
• Enjoy working in a team and collaborating with different stakeholders
• Confident using Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint
• Initial experience with social media platforms, content creation tools or analytics tools is a plus (not required)
