Internship, FP&A & Business Operations (Summer 2027)

About the role

This position is expected to start May/June 2027 and continue through the entire Summer 2027 term (August/September). A minimum of 12 weeks, full‑time is required. International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week. Many students will be limited to part‑time during the academic year. This internship is located in multiple locations depending on team placement: Palo Alto, CA; Austin, TX; Fremont, CA; Sparks, NV. Tesla Finance combines traditional financial planning and analysis with broader business decision‑making and strategy. Finance is embedded in daily operations, supporting both near‑term execution and long‑term planning. Team members are expected to analyze data, provide recommendations, and lead cross‑functional decision‑making and implementation of the recommendations with the relevant executives/teams throughout the company. Through the intern program, we are looking to find the next wave of talent to drive these efforts. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) works with our Finance and Accounting leadership team and other subgroups
