Internship for UIC Shareholders & Descendants

UIC Arctic Operations & Development is currently seeking a Project Manager.

About the role

Responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery within the Arctic operations and development sector. This role requires strong leadership skills, project management expertise, and a deep understanding of Arctic environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
• Oversee project teams to ensure adherence to project scope, quality standards, and timelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with Arctic environmental regulations and industry standards.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience.
• Experience working in the Arctic environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.

Skills

• Project management software proficiency (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
• Understanding of Arctic environmental regulations and best practices.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
