UIC Arctic Operations & Development is currently seeking a Project Manager.
About the role
Responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery within the Arctic operations and development sector. This role requires strong leadership skills, project management expertise, and a deep understanding of Arctic environmental regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
- Oversee project teams to ensure adherence to project scope, quality standards, and timelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with Arctic environmental regulations and industry standards.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience.
- Experience working in the Arctic environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
Skills
- Project management software proficiency (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
- Understanding of Arctic environmental regulations and best practices.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
