About the Role

At General Mills, Finance is a strategic business partner, driving creative strategies that enhance shareholder value while maintaining strong fiduciary responsibility. Finance is integrated into all aspects of our business, offering career paths in either a technical, accounting-focused track or a broad, generalist finance track.

This internship is part of the Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP), designed to provide incoming analysts with diverse roles and experiences. The program builds skills in technical foundations, functional depth, and business basics while fostering leadership, critical thinking, and business context. Responsibilities

  • Participate in a 10-week internship program, leading projects critical to the business.
  • Develop technical foundations, functional depth, and business acumen through hands-on experience.
  • Demonstrate leadership, hone critical thinking skills, and influence others.
  • Engage in training to accelerate impact and contribute to a culture of belonging.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • Graduating in Winter 2027 or Spring 2028.
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis (General Mills will not sponsor work visas for this position).
  • Minimum age qualification: 18 years.
